2021 brings a brand new event to The Tour of Cambridgeshire. The goal of our Luna Ride is to offer women new to cycling, or those returning after some time away from the saddle, the chance to ride the scenic Cambridgeshire lanes in a friendly and safe environment. A marked route will cover a total distance of 50km, meaning all levels of experience can enjoy the journey.
Whether you fancy a summer’s evening ride with some great company, or you’re setting yourself this challenge to fundraise for charity, the Luna Ride is all inclusive- other halves, family and friends are more than welcome to join in. The ride is also suitable for any kind of bike- road, city and hybrid or mountain bike- and is there to be taken as seriously or casually as you like.
If you’ve ever wanted to ride 100km as part of the Women’s 100 in September, why not use this as the perfect stepping stone and kick starter to build up to the distance.
Once you’ve finished, there will be *finisher’s medals* food, drink and numerous exhibitors to check out- so why not hang around and soak up the atmosphere?
Places on the Luna Ride are limited so enter as soon as possible.
